KEY PERSONNEL

Vesselin started his career in 1992 with the law firm of Covington & Burling in Washington, DC, where he concentrated on M&A and Federal Securities Law. Between 1994 and 1995 he was with TS Bank in Sofia where he became the Director for FX Operations and Treasury. After an engagement in the Financial Institutions Group at Moody’s, Vesselin joined Morgan Stanley in London in 1997 where until 2006 he served as the Executive Director in charge of the Russian and Eastern European ultra-high net worth business. While devoting his efforts to the hospitality business, Vesselin stayed on as an Advisory Director at Morgan Stanley until December 2008. In 2009 he was appointed the Executive Director of Agromanage AD, a company specialized in agricultural land. Vesselin holds a Diploma in Law from the University of Sofia (1991), LL.M. from the Yale Law School (1992), and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (1997).

Aglika Kostova joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer in May 2003. Previously, between 2001 and 2003 Ms Kostova was at Spectrum Net as financial controller. Between 1998 and 2001 she worked as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche in Bulgaria where she performed audit and due diligence functions. Between 1997 and 1998 she worked as an accountant at DAEWOO Bulgaria AD. Ms Kostova holds an MSc in Finance and an MSc in Accounting from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. She completed an ACCA qualification in 2005.

Evgeniy Genov is the Hotel Director of Sol Luna Bay Resort since May 2022. He joined the company in 2010 as Quality Manager at Sol Luna Bay Resort. From 2013 till 2015 he held the position of Area Human Resources Manager for Meliã Hotels International in Bulgaria. In January 2015 he was promoted to an Assistant General Manager at Sol Luna Bay Resort. Evgeniy holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from University of Economics in Varna, as well as Master’s degree in German and Dutch Linguistics from the University of Veliko Tarnovo.

Lyubo Lipchev has been the General Manager of Sol Nessebar Resort since early 2008. Between 2004 and 2007 he was the Hotel Manager of Sol Nessebar Mare. Lyubo Lipchev has 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most of which in management positions. Between 1986 and 2003 he managed different hotels in Sunny Beach and Pomorie. Lyubo holds an MSc in Accounting and Control from the University of Economics – Varna and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the College of Tourism – Bourgas.

Ivelina Atanasova is a Hotel Director of the 5-star Melia Grand Hermitage Hotel. Ivelina joined the Company in August 2005 and between 2005 and 2008 held different positions in the Marketing & Sales Department. She was promoted to Marketing Director in 2008 and to Assistant General Manager in 2016. Before moving to the hospitality industry, Ivelina managed the marketing & advertising department of a Bulgarian media group. Ivelina Atanasova holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Economics - Varna.

Hristo Karailiev has been a Hotel Manager of Melia Sunny Beach Resort since early 2013. He was promoted to general manager in 2018. Hristo joined the Company in 2005. In 2006 he was promoted to Front Office Manager. From 2009 to 2012 Hristo was the Sales and Marketing Manager of Melia Sunny Beach Resort. Between 2003 and 2005 Hristo held various Front Office positions in several winter and summer hotels in Borovets and St. Vlas. Hristo Karailiev holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the College of Tourism – Bourgas, part of the University “Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov” - Bourgas.
